About Julie

I am originally from Wisconsin and lived in Chicago for 8 years. I moved to Denver in 2015 to be closer to family and the mountains. My passion for fitness includes hiking trails all over Colorado and even tackling a few 14ers. I’ve completed 7 so far and plan to add to the list! I enjoy hopping on my road bike and exploring a new path just as much as a upbeat cycling class. Triathlon training brought me back to swimming. Weight training is incorporated in my fitness routine because of the benefits it has in my strength and yes, toning of the body. Yoga tops my list; teaching the practice and working towards my own goals in challenging poses just about every day!

I’m a big fan of sunny weather and being outdoors. I’ll never turn down a live music concert, especially if it’s at Red Rocks. In the summer, you can find me cheering on the Brewers, planning road trips, trying out a new brewery, or dining at a rooftop restaurant. The cooler months have me snowshoeing in Estes Park, rooting for the Packers, or working really hard to master the toe side of snowboarding. My Epic Local Pass will get a lot of use next season, that’s for sure. All year round, I spend time with my niece Ava and nephew Matthew. Traveling plans around the U.S. and abroad; Telluride, Yosemite, Chicago, and New Zealand are what I have in the works for now.
